Thomas Horsman

c.1801 - 1870

Amherstberg

Moved from Yorkshire, to Amherstberg in  Ontario,  and then to Michigan.

Christopher Horsman

1746 - c.1814

New Brunswick

Originally from Marske by Richmond, Christopher emigrated from Yorkshire in  1773 on the Jenny.  He founded a very extensive family.

Thomas Horsman

John Horsman

1829 - 1920

1826 - 1927

Quebec

Thomas and John were two brothers who emigrated from  Dodbrooke in Devon  in the mid 1850’s.  Both men were Gardeners.

Charles Horsman

1878 - 1967

Saskatchewan

Charles married  Sarah Jane Davies in 1902  and emigrated from Bradford, Yorkshire to Canada in 1905. There are lots of descendents.





New Zealand




William Horsman

1841 - 1873

Christchurch

William emigrated from Fewston in Yorkshire, England and is part of a large family originating in Ripon. William was a Butcher, and married Harriet Thompson in 1867. Following William's death, the family moved to Temuka.





South Africa





1839 - 1869

Natal

Originally from a Kirkby Malzeard family, Thomas Horsman married Ruth Watson  in 1860 and shortly afterwards emigrated from  East   Tanfield in Yorkshire, to Natal. Their son Jeffrey has many descendants still in South  Africa





USA
